PSEA Group Life
Insurance Plan
The PSEA Group Life Insurance Plan, endorsed by the PSEA Health & Welfare Fund, is available to all full-time employees working at least 20 hours per week.
- Guaranteed Issue amounts are:
• $250,000 for Employee
• $50,000 for Spouse
• $10,000 for Dependents
- Maximum Amount of coverage for employee with Evidence of Insurability is the greater of $500,000 or five times the employee’s salary.
- Minimum amount of coverage is $10,000.
- Additional Features:
• Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage is available.
• Guaranteed Increase Benefit: Employees can increase their benefit each year by the greater of $10,000 or 10% without medical questions.
• Accelerated Life Benefit included for terminally ill employee.
• Coverage is portable if you leave your current district.
• Can be converted to a permanent policy.
• Life Event Benefit of $10,000 or 10%.
